What Your Status Means
- Pending: SASSA is still verifying your details. Check again after a few days.
- Approved: You’re approved for that month. Payment will follow in the payment window.
- Declined: Not approved for that month. Read the reason and consider an appeal.
- Approved - No Pay Date: You’re approved but payout is not yet scheduled. It should reflect soon.
Troubleshooting
- Approved but not paid: Payments are batched near month‑end; funds can take 2–3 business days to reflect.
- Declined: Income above R624, UIF/NSFAS flagged, or identity mismatch. Fix details then appeal.
- Re‑application requested: Reconfirm details on the SRD website to avoid delays.
