Yeoville 1 Reservoir
Yeoville 1 Reservoir has been on bypass - patchy pressure for 1 day.
Johannesburg Water's latest update: “Incoming supply to the Yeoville reservoirs 1 & 2 remains constrained with no improvements overnight. Both outlets are currently open and supplying the designated zone under constrained conditions. Pumping at the Yeoville Pump Station is temporarily suspended since earlier this morning due to poor suction pressures.”
“Storage” is roughly how long this reservoir can keep supplying if its inflow stopped - a rough cushion, not a countdown. Figures from Johannesburg Water's reservoir register.

What this means for your taps
"On bypass" means Johannesburg Water is routing supply around this reservoir while levels recover or repairs are done. Expect reduced pressure - water may trickle or briefly stop at peak times and on higher ground - rather than a full outage.
